Usually garlic is roasted whole, but I have discovered another way to do it that I like too. A scoop or two are handy to add to mashed potatoes, soups, stews, sauces and add another delightful and delicious level of flavour
Ingredients
Several Garlic bulbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F
Peel a number of garlic cloves
Roast in a shallow pan with a little oil and water for 20 minutes or so until they are tender
Puree them in a food processor and store in the refrigerator for a week or so
